While smart technology -- from tablets to phones to cars -- is making everyday life easier, providing limitless information at the flick of a finger, there's still one major area where it's lacking: style. Cue Google Android's new collaboration with two top Council of Fashion Designers of America talents.
The tech giant tapped two of the CFDA's top talents -- Cynthia Rowley, of the namesake design house, and Lisa Salzer, from Lulu Frost -- to add a fashion-forward twist to its Android Wear collection. Each designer devised totally digital watch faces that reflect their brand's style.
Rowley opted for a psychedelic floral motif that's sure to make checking the time much more interesting, while Salzer placed luxe gold font over a background that whimsically changes color with the hour. She also worked with Marlon Taylor-Wiles, designer for Lulu Frost spinoff George Frost, on a second Android Wear interface. This one incorporates six unique schemes, including a colorful play on classic camouflage complete with hidden morse code.
The best part? Your instant style upgrade is readily available in the Googly Play store. Download one or all of the watch faces, then choose which one to display on your wrist.
