The go-to suit? Check. A pair of sensible, yet stylish shoes? Check. An outfit that can transition from day to night? Check. Frequent business travelers undoubtedly have packing down to a science. But after packing, unpacking, and repacking the same outfits over and over again, it's difficult to avoid travel fatigue.
Enter DUFL, a new app that aims to streamline the packing process, especially for people who travel regularly for work.
After signing up through the app, DUFL users are sent a suitcase to fill with the clothes and accessories they typically bring on trips. After that, DUFL takes over and users never have to pack a suitcase for a business trip again. That's because the company stores users' items in a personal closet until a trip arises, at which time they'll re-pack the items and deliver them straight to users' hotel.
At the end of the trip, all that's left to do is schedule a pickup through the app.
Granted, there is some degree of packing to be done. But with DUFL cleaning the clothes after every voyage and keeping them on hand until another trip arises, it's a luxury that's pretty hard to pass up.
Users also have the advantage of avoiding airline baggage fees, though the app does cost $9.95 per month to stash items in a DUFL closet, and an additional $99 for each round trip the suitcase takes.
While the app is primarily marketed to business travelers, anyone can sign up. And what better excuse to travel than needing to see your favorite sweater or dress again?
