Botanical description
Nettle refers to grassy plants that have thick creeping roots. It is characterized by an erect, tetrahedral, ribbed, unbranched stem, whose height can reach 1.5 meters. There were instances that grew to 2.4 meters.
Hemp nettle is characterized by branched, elongated, dense inflorescences. Refers to monoecious or dioecious, has flowers of the same sex, located in the axils of the foliage.The fruit is represented by a nut whose length is 2-2.5 mm. Flowering lasts all summer. Fruiting occurs in August.
On top of the stems and leaves are simple, short, hard, burning villi. As part of a formic acid, therefore, touching them, you can feel the pain that goes into itching - the so-called urticaria. The leaves contain the following bioactive components:

- starch;
- chlorophyll;
- carotene;
- gum;

- ammonium carbonate.

The plant can be found in Central Asian regions, Mongolia, China, Russia, Ukraine. The most common habitat for nettles are the slopes near roads, littered places. Also, rocky slopes, wastelands, steppe meadows, forest-steppe and steppe zones can be home to nettles.
Medicinal properties
Thanks to the substances contained in the foliage, the plant has a hemostatic, wound healing and anti-inflammatory effect.Using the roots, you can reduce, and sometimes completely remove the tumor.

Traditional medicine often uses nettle hemp, because it can stop bleeding, fight worms, have anti-fever and diuretic effects. It also improves the flow of rheumatism and sciatica. Often in the baths it is mixed with birch branches.
Uterine and intestinal hemorrhages can be stopped with nettle infusion. To do this, brew in 1 cup of hot water 1 tbsp. a spoonful of dried leaves, insist 60 minutes and strain.The resulting drink is taken 60 ml 4 times a day.
If you have enterocolitis, you will need to prepare a fee. For it you need to mix nettle, St. John's wort and plantain in a ratio of 3: 2: 1. One spoon of Hypericum is necessary to pour 250 ml of boiling water, insist half an hour, strain. Take the third part of the glass three times a day. To combat anemia, diabetes, vitamin deficiencies, you must chop dry leaves and 3 tablespoons pour two cups of boiling water, leave for 60 minutes and apply half a cup 3 times a day for half an hour before eating.
If you have dandruff or hair fall out, it is worth preparing such a combined decoction: 2 tablespoons of dried shredded nettle leaves mixed with 1 tablespoon of shredded leaves of a mother and stepmother. The mixture is poured over 300 ml of hot water, infused for 1 hour, filtered.After each shampooing, it is necessary to moisten it and rub the infusion into the skin. After the procedure, the head is not wiped. Apply 3 times a week for 1 month.
