"My approach to design has always been to strip away unnecessary decoration, to me there is great beauty in refined simplicity," said Pheasant. "To design objects that are elegant, maintain value, are stimulating to the senses, and visually beautiful. This goes against the trend today, but it is this exploration of new ways of expression, using simplicity, bold silhouettes and clean finishes that look forward, not back, that excites me."
