In the modern agrarian industry, more and more new diseases and pests of plants appear, and those that are known for more than one day are becoming resistant to the existing means of combating them. Therefore it is necessary to invent and develop all new drugs to combat various diseases. Such an innovative tool was the recently released into the production of the fungicide "Signum".

Composition and preparative form
Fungicide "Signum" is one of the innovative drugs that can protect fruit crops from a variety of diseases, fight various pathogens and control their livelihoods. This fungicide is highly effective, which contributes to reliable plant safety and significant yields. Also, "Signum" is slightly toxic, so it can be used in the treatment of many fruit-bearing crops. Its main components, active ingredients are pyraclostrobin (67 g per kg) and boscalid (267 g per kg).Available in the form of water-soluble granules, packing -1 kg.
Benefits
The Signum fungicide has several advantages:
- highly effective in combating a large range of plant diseases;
- able to protect wards plants for quite a long time;
- It has a positive effect on the quality indicators of fruits and increases the level of their storage after harvest;
- combines the effect of two substances with different mechanisms of action on pathogenic microorganisms;
- not dangerous for insects and little toxic to humans.
Mechanism of action
The drug "Signum" consists of such major components as pyraclostrobin and boscalid, which are related to completely different groups in chemical composition. These components contribute to the excellent prophylactic effect of the fungicide.Piraklostrobin is one of the newest substances of the strobilurins group, capable of leaking into the plant when exposed and blocking the energy savings of the fungal cells, thereby suspending the growth of spores and the appearance of new fungi. Boskalid - a substance related to the group of carboxamides, has a universal effect on a large number of fungal diseases.
How to prepare a working solution
Like every other substance of this group, the drug "Signum" has instructions for use, which must be followed in the work on spraying various plant species. To prepare the solution, it is recommended to take water with a temperature of ten to sixteen degrees above zero, in which the drug granules dissolve faster. The sprayer tank is filled with water to one third, the required amount of fungicide is added, the rest of the water is mixed and added.
Consumption rate for stone fruit plants - from 1 to 1.25 kg / ha of the preparation, or from 1000 to 1250 liters of working solution per hectare, for potatoes - 0.25-0.3 kg / ha of the preparation, or from 400 to 600 liters of working solution per hectare, for cucumbers and onions - 1-1.5 kg / ha of the preparation, or from 600 to 800 liters of working solution per hectare, for tomatoes - 1-1.5 kg / ha of the preparation, or from 400 to 600 liters of the working solution per hectare for carrots - 0.75-1 kg / ha of the drug or working solution the same amount as for tomatoes.
When and how to process
The drug "Signum" is used most often to combat various fungal diseases. Therefore, it is most effective to use it before the onset of signs of damage during the period when the threat of exposure to pathogenic microorganisms is likely.On stone cultures, the first treatment is carried out at the beginning of the flowering process, the next - in one to two weeks. Potatoes are sprayed for the first time six to eight weeks after germination, the next - two to three weeks after the first time.
Onions (except those intended for the feather) and cucumber are treated twice: the first is prophylactic, the next is seven to twelve days after the first. Carrots and tomatoes are sprayed during the growing season, also twice: the first - at the first signs of the disease or for preventive purposes, the next - if necessary in one or two weeks. The air temperature during the spraying should be from 12 to 22 degrees above zero, and the wind speed should be no more than four meters per second.
Period of protective action
The protective effect of the drug extends over a period of from seven to fourteen days, depending on the degree of incidence of plants. A maximum of two treatments per season.
Toxicity
Fungicide "Signum" belongs to the third class of danger, classified as a moderately dangerous drug for both humans and insects.
Storage conditions
The shelf life of Signum is five years from the date of manufacture. It is recommended to keep it, as well as all preparations of this type, in a tightly closed package in a dark, cool and inaccessible place for children. Fungicide "Signum", like many other drugs in this group, is designed to make life easier for modern farmers in the fight against diseases caused by pathogenic organisms, but only with proper compliance with the instructions for use, it can become a highly effective helper.
