Fashionable living is on trend in London and will continue to be at least until the year 2020 when a collaboration between Versace Homes and DICO UK Property Holdings is set to be unveiled.
The 50-story luxury apartment building in downtown London will overlook
the Rive Thames, Westminster Palace and the London Eye, according to renderings, which also show contemporary home decor,
including fur rugs and sleek, white furnishings. Amenities will include a gym,
pool and spa, children's play room, rooftop garden and cinema.
This is not Versace's first venture in luxury homes, of course. The
fashion company designed an apartment building in Beirut and occupied the top 10 floors
of another complex in Saudi Arabia. Both of those residences opened in 2013. The Milano
Residences, featuring interior design exclusively by Versace, will open in the Philippines
at the end of the year.
Like in those developments, we can imagine that Londoners who
hope to land a Versace flat will pay a steep price. But
waking up in style every morning is undoubtedly priceless.
