Hermès Wants To Surprise You With A Monthly Mystery Box Of Luxury Goods

Since the success of BirchBox, the company that sends a surprise mix of goodies to subscribers' doors each month, it seems everyone is hopping on the "mystery box" trend. From athletic-themed packages like Fabletics to the dog lover's BarkBox, there's something for everyone, except, perhaps, those with the most discriminating taste.

Enter "Petit h Surprise," Hermès' answer to those in search of only the finest samples in life. Similar to BirchBox, the French fashion house is offering a monthly gift box filled with surprises from its "laboratory of imagination and reconstruction." Sounds intriguing, no?

With the choice of a medium box for $245 per month or a large box for $1,875, there's no telling what treasures will arrive in the mail. The program has been in existence since May, and those who've tried it reported to Purseblog that they've received everything from leather luggage tags to silk scarves.

Unlike BirchBox, however, Hermès understands that not all surprises are good ones. If your Petit h goody box is not up to your standard, simply return it to the luxury retailer for a full refund.

Fingers crossed this month's contains an iconic Birkin bag… or we're sending it back.
