Composition

A milliliter of medication contains 10 mg of ivermectin and 40 mg of vitamin E, plus auxiliary elements.

Indications for use

The drug is indicated for the following health problems:

  • helminthiasis in the lungs, intestines, stomach;
  • eye nematode;
  • subcutaneous and nasopharyngeal gadfly;
  • scabies and lice;
  • mallophagus;
  • footrot.

Important! Besides "Ivermek" (according to the instructions for use) is used for birds as a preventive measure and during the molting period.

Dosing and Administration

For each type of domestic animals there is a recommended rate of consumption, which for the sake of safety for the animal should be observed.

For cattle

  • With worms and other parasites - 1 ml / 50 kg once per neck or croup intramuscularly.
  • For skin problems, lice and scabies - 1ml / 50kg twice with an interval of 10 days, intramuscularly in the croup or neck.

For MPC

  • With helminths - 1 ml / 50 kg once the injection is carried out in the thigh muscle or neck.
  • For skin diseases, lice and scabies - 1ml / 50kg twice with a break of 10 days, the injection site - the thigh or neck.
"Ivermek" for small cattle weighing less than 25 kg and rabbits dosage at the rate of 0.1 ml per 5 kg of live weight.

For horses

  • Helminths and other parasites - 1 ml / 50 kg mass per day in the croup or neck muscle.
  • Dermatological problems - 1 ml / 50 kg twice, the second injection after 10 days, intramuscularly in the croup or neck.

To maintain the health of animals, they are often given vitamin complexes, for example: Eleovit, Tetravit, Gammatonik, Chiktonik, Trivit, E-selenium.

For pigs

"Ivermek" for pigs instructions for use:

  • When parasites - 1 ml / 33kg once in the neck or thigh (the inner part of the muscle).
  • With dermatosis - 1 ml / 33kg twice, a break of 10 days, intramuscularly (in the thigh or neck).

For chickens

The bird "Ivermek" is given with drinking - the dose is diluted in ¼ of the daily norm of water. The recommended dose is 0.4 ml / 1 kg of weight once with nematodes. With dermatosis (lice), the dose is given twice with a pass at 24 hours, after the second dose again two weeks later.

If the dose of the drug exceeds 10 ml, should be injected in different places. For animals weighing less than 5 kg, the preparation is diluted with any solution suitable for injection.

The treatment of livestock from worms and other parasites is carried out in the spring before they are driven out to the pasture in the fall. Chickens carrying eggs do not give medicine 14 days before laying eggs. For pregnant females, the use is allowed no later than 28 days before the planned milk yields.

Side effects

A negative reaction may occur a couple of days after ingestion in animals with the rejection of certain elements of the medication, the symptoms disappear in a few days, among them: itching, frequent feces,possible vomiting, agitated state.

Contraindications

The use of "Iverkmek" is not allowed in veterinary medicine(according to the instructions for use) for animals in the following categories:

  • milk females if milk is eaten;
  • patients with complex lesions of infection;
  • exhausted ward;
  • pregnant animals 28 days before the start of feeding their pets.
Important! Slaughter for the sake of eating meat is allowed no earlier than after 28 full days, if slaughter was necessary before the deadline, the meat can be fed to animals that feed on it.

Shelf life and storage conditions

If the package has not been opened, the drug can be stored for two years from the date of issue, in printed form - no more than twenty days. The drug is stored in a dry, dark place without access for children, away from food and agricultural feed. After use, the container must be disposed of.
