Here's How You REALLY Fly First Class: The VIP Boeing 747-8

Most of us can't afford to fly first-class, let alone buy our own jet. And even within that exclusive world, it's a big step up from your standard private jet to a personalized Boeing 747-8.

Greenpoint Technologies, of Kirkland, recently fitted out the industry's first VIP 747-8 for a private, undisclosed client. The 747-8 is the world's second-largest commercial airliner, after the Airbus A380, with 4,786 square feet of cabin space in the VIP version. This one has another 393 square feet in an "Aeroloft" above the main cabin, between the upper deck and tail.

What's it like inside a VIP 747-8? Check out the photos below, which is probably as close as you or I will ever get to the inside of such a plane.

Rich people and governments have ordered nine VIP 747-8s, of which Boeing has delivered eight. Boeing generally delivers them with a bare interior to a finishing company, such as Greenpoint.
