'Apira': instructions for use in beekeeping

Composition, release form, general information

"Apira" - a drug that facilitates the capture of swarms during swarming. Packed in plastic pink jars of 25 g, is a gel of white color. "Apira" refers to the group of pheromone preparations for bees.

Did you know? Bees communicate with each other with the help of pheromones excreted by their body and special body movements, the so-called "bee dances".

The structure includes:

geraniol;
citral;
peppermint oil;
lemon oil;
lemon balm oil

Pharmacological properties

Pheromones affect the behavior of the bee family, have a grouping effect on individual workers, attracting them to the swarm and the nest. Within 5 days after application, the summer activity of bees increases by about 28-37%, egg-laying - by 10-50%, and the mass of newborns also increases.

Important! The drug does not affect the quality of honey.

Dosage and method of use

When using "Apiro", you must follow the instructions exactly and follow the recommended doses.

Proper use

Consider "Apira" in terms of its correct and effective use. First you need to prepare grafts and place them on the poles stuck into the ground. You can also install them on bushes or trees at a distance of 100-700 meters from the apiary. A gel is applied to the scions and renewed every day during the swarming period.

Important! The hive can be lubricated with “Apiroem” in order to catch the swarm better and quicker in it.

You can also use roevni, then the gel is applied once. Twice a day you need to check back. When re-using the swarm after transferring the swarm to the hive, the gel can be applied to it no earlier than in 10 days.

To protect the bees from ticks use the drug "Bipin".

Consumption rates

In the preparation "Apira" instruction provided following dosages:

1 g (circumference about 1 cm in diameter) of the gel is applied daily to the grafts.
At the beginning, 10 g of the preparation is applied once on the inside.

Side effects and contraindications

When using "Apiroya" no side effects or contraindications are established.
