The Ministry of Agriculture of Russia will not resume the intervention on the purchase of grain

As Vladimir Volik, Director of the Department for the Regulation of Agricultural Markets in the Ministry, said yesterday, the Russian Ministry of Agriculture sees no reason for resuming government procurement interventions for the 2016 grain harvest. According to him, there is no tendency to reduce prices, and export has shown good results. Thus, the ministry will not influence the market situation in any way. At the same time, it is possible that the current price situation may change "at any time."
