Tommy Hilfiger Is Planning To Launch A Private Club In Miami

Move over Ralph Lauren, there's a new fashion designer looking to make his mark in the world of private club ownership, and it's none other than Tommy Hilfiger.

The iconic American designer purchased the historic Raleigh Hotel in Miami for $56.5 back in 2014, and now, according to Luxury Listings NYC, he's planning to turn the space into a private club.

Hilfiger announced that the Art Deco hotel would undergo renovations back in April, in the hopes that he could restore its original glory, while "keeping its DNA and its heritage intact," according to Page Six.

Despite the renovations being far from finished - the hotel will close for eighteen months of work in May, 2016 - Page Six reports they will usher in a whole new iteration of the Raleigh.

And while few details have emerged about Hilfiger's foray into elite members-only entertaining, we can't wait to see what the Raleigh looks like when it reopens (even if we have to live vicariously through the celebrities and models who will inevitably score invites to the club).

If Hilfiger's homes are any indication, it will be one stylish spot.
