Last year, Australian producers achieved the greatest profitability since 2006 and, according to the results of the Australian Pastoral Association (MLA), the sales revenue was the same as in 2015. Also in the MLA report, it is noted that Australian manufacturers have achieved the highest productivity in increasing the weight characteristics of livestock, so the efficiency and profitability of cattle breeding is at the highest level. In 2015, the cost of Australian cattle has increased significantly, catching up with the growth rates of world tariffs for livestock, subsequently the effects of a long-term drought in 2012-2014.
Few states have every chance of praising the long-term profitability of beef production today, which led to an increase in the cost of beef, which improved the results for Australian farms in 2015. The country has shown this result, despite continuing climate variability (especially drought) and increasing resource and environmental constraints. But, this does not prevent Australian beef producers and exporters from consolidating their positions in the global market.
