This Hotel Used To Be Elizabeth Taylor and Richard Burton's Love Nest

When Elizabeth Taylor and Richard Burton needed to escape the prying eyes of the paparazzi, they headed to Puerto Vallarta. There, the star-crossed lovers lived relatively normal lives in adjacent casitas overlooking the sea, which they called Casa Kimberly.

Designer and hotel proprietor Janice Chatterton recently renovated the two villas, expanding it into a nine-suite hotel that lets visitors experience the magic of Taylor and Burton's one-time love nest themselves.

All of Casa Kimberly's charming details have been left intact, meaning you can enjoy an ocean view from Elizabeth Taylor's original pink marble, heart-shaped bathtub, or recreate that scene from Romeo & Juliet on the "Puente Del Amor," the bridge that connects Taylor and Burton's villas together.

The property also boasts a boutique spa, tequila bar, open-air restaurant, and the original blue tiled pool from when Taylor and Burton called the property home.

Suites start at $435 a night. Sure, it's steep - but you can't put a price on bragging rights.
