Cooking in the country: soup Dovga

Cold soups are a very interesting part of the culinary traditions.

In Russia, many people know okroshka and beetroot soup, in Bulgaria soups on kefir are known.

The recipe for Dovgi is just kefir soup, but not only this fact is interesting in it, but also the opportunity to cook in any period of the year.

After all, the ingredients are always available. In the summer, this soup gives you coolness, and in the winter, saturation.

Ingredients

  • one and a half liter of kefir;
  • a pound of sour cream;
  • half a cup of rice;
  • egg;
  • four spoons of wheat flour;
  • glass of water;
  • 70 grams of butter;
  • greens and mint to taste;
  • some salt.

Recipe

  1. First, mix the egg, flour and a glass of kefir, whisk whisk. During this period, boil rice until half cooked.
  2. Add the rest of kefir and sour cream to the pan, pour the eggs with flour and mix.
  3. Add a glass of water and boil over high heat, stirring thoroughly so that the eggs do not clot.
  4. When kefir boils, add rice, continue to mix and cook until tender.
  5. The fire is slowed down a little, cut the greens and add.
  6. Slightly boil and remove from heat, continue to stir, so that nothing curled.
  7. The resulting soup is cooled and served cold.
