In the circles of farmers and gardeners, the popularity of fungicides is growing almost every day. If a few years ago, these drugs were viewed with caution and a kind of suspicion, then today they are indispensable assistants in the process of caring for plants.
One of the most effective fighters against fungal infections in fruit and berry plants is a fungicide of the new generation - "Azofos", or simply - "azofosk". Let's find out what it consists of, how to prepare it and how to apply it.

Composition and release form
"Azofos" was developed by Belarusian scientists using the latest achievements of science. He is known in the circles of farmers, as a safe product that is manufactured in compliance with all environmental and health standards.
The main part of the composition (more than 50%) of the fungicide is made using ammonium-copper phosphate (AMP). In addition, the drug is rich in trace elements, a large proportion of which are phosphorus, copper, potash, molybdenum, nitrogen, zinc and magnesium additives.The presence of these trace elements contributes to high-quality and healthy growth of the plant, and also allows the use of azofoska and as a feed.
Preparative form - water-based suspension.
Due to the designated chemical composition, "Azofos" quickly destroys fungal microorganisms that settled on the crop, thus significantly increasing the yield. In addition, it is not dangerous for your health (belongs to the 4th class of toxicity) and is environmentally friendly.
Benefits
Azofoska has a wide list of advantages, including:
- high efficiency of use;
- ease of preparation of the working solution and application;
- belongs to the 4th class of toxicity, and therefore is safe for human health, honey insects and the environment;
- the harmless chemical composition of the fungicide allows it to be used more than once per season.At the same time, it does not provoke a high pesticidal load on the soil and plants;
- the presence in the agrochemical composition of a large number of microelements contributes to the healthy life of the plant, since it qualitatively feeds the culture through the root system;
- Azofoska has a huge range of applications, it can be applied to almost all fruit and berry crops;
- an acceptable price, when compared with other imported pesticides, makes chemical planting much cheaper;
- optimal protection against phytophthora;
- contributes to the healthy development of the root system of culture;
- increases plant resistance to abrupt changes in climatic conditions.
Operating principle
Azofoska is one of the agrochemicals of contact action, that is, it fights against diseases and pests on the surface of leaves and stems of the crop. Method of application - spraying.
Also, the fungicide is used as a fertilizer. Farmers with experience advise applying it on peat, clay, marshy soils, and heavy soils. However, it is recommended to strictly adhere to the required proportions.
Preparation of working solution
Being engaged in the manufacture of the solution of the fungicide "Azofos", you must comply with all doses indicated in the instructions for use, and instructions on how to dilute it.
The dosage depends on the type of culture itself and the type of its disease.
The optimum capacity for the solution is a container made of plastic, glass or metal, the required volume. The dosage of the drug should be measured strictly according to the instructions.
It is forbidden to combine "Azofos" with pesticides, which include the presence of polysulfide sulfur (PSK, lime-sulfur solutions).
The required amount of azofosca (the optimal dose is 100 ml) is dissolved in 4-5 liters of water and mixed thoroughly. Then add more water. The optimal rate of solution is 10 liters.After mixing the mixture again, you can safely begin to spray.
Method and terms of processing, consumption
Depending on the type of culture, the degree and type of its disease, determine the timing of application and consumption of the working solution. There are only two ways to use azofoska: spraying and root watering.
- raspberries, strawberries and strawberries must be sprayed twice: the first - before flowering, the second - the ambassador of the berries gathering. The optimal dose of fungicide is 30 ml per 1 m² of area;
- 30 ml of the preparation per 1 m² of planting area are used to eliminate pests on cranberry and lingonberry plantings. Spray berries bushes once before flowering;
- The healing process of cherries, plums, cherry plums, apricots, cherries must be organized 4 times. The first time the trees are treated during the period of bud swelling, the second - at the beginning of the plant budding stage (before flowering), the third - after flowering, the fourth - after harvesting. For a fruit bearing culture, it is necessary to prepare 10 liters of the working solution, for a tree at the age of 3 years and less - 2 liters;
- pear and apple trees are sprayed with the preparation twice to protect the trees from scab and fruit rot attacks. The first spraying process is carried out in the period of swelling of the kidneys. In addition to the kidneys, it is necessary to process the trunks and around the trunk circles. The second treatment should take place before flowering. The norm of the working mixture for a tree up to 6 years old is 2 liters, for an adult - 10 liters;
- currant needs spraying three times: when it blooms, when it has blossomed, and when the crop has been reaped. At one bush you need to spend 1.5 liters of the mixture.
Precautionary measures
The drug belongs to the middle class of toxicity. This means that during its use it is necessary to observe certain precautions. It is necessary to avoid direct contact with azofoska or its mixture. In case of contact with a drop on the skin or in the eyes, rinse the affected areas with water immediately. To avoid this, you should wear special protective clothing. The most vulnerable parts of the human body are eyes and hands, so they must be protected first.Glasses and rubberized gloves will be most welcome. It is also recommended to use the "services" of a respirator or a gauze bandage.
Storage conditions
Store the drug in a tightly closed container in a cool, dark place. At observance of norms of storage, fungicide is suitable for use for three years. If the packaging of the drug is open or damaged, its useful life is six months.
So, we have established that the fungicide "Azofos" is one of the most effective means of protecting fruit crops from pests and diseases. With proper use and compliance with all standards of precautions, the drug is completely harmless to humans and the environment, but is effective in combating disease promoters.
