An auction in London is offering design lovers the chance to bid on the entire contents of an Alberto Pinto-designed home. The private residence, located in the exclusive Knightsbridge district, is chock full of luxurious furnishings and accessories, including a pair of Laudarte Amore table lamps and Louis XVI-style French, painted nightstands.
During his years as an interior designer, Pinto was renowned for his ability to craft sumptuous, yet sleek homes, like this Knightsbridge residence.
And as the late designer, who died in Paris in 2012, spent 40 years crafting luxurious designs for his well-to-do clientele, the items available are sure to be noteworthy.
The 1,200-plus auction lots include furniture, art, household items, textiles and lighting, which, according to Heart Home Mag, fuse "the elegance and sophistication of an 18th-century-styled private residence with the contemporary luxuries expected from some of the world's leading suppliers."
Pro Auction Ltd. will open bidding on July 14th and will also allow online bids to be submitted via live webcast. The auction ends on July 15.
