Description and composition of the drug
The drug is tailored to the physiological needs of livestock in vitamins. It is used mainly for beriberi and diseases appearing on its background.
Used in complex therapy for rickets, tetany, dermatitis, non-healing ulcers and wounds, liver dystrophy, xerophthalmia. Eleovit is a worthwhile drug for the treatment and prevention of these conditions in cattle, pigs, horses, goats and sheep.

Excipients: glucose, water for injection, protein lactalbumin. The liquid is pale brown or yellowish, with a specific odor, oily.
Release form
Available in the form of a solution for injection in glass bottles of 10 and 100 ml. Marked with the marks "For veterinary use", "Intramuscular", "Sterile".
Pharmacological properties
Eleovit is a complex vitamin preparation with an optimal ratio. Vitamins contained in it belong to different enzyme groups and are involved in metabolic processes.
Dosing and Administration
This drug is widely used in animal husbandry and has different dosages depending on the type and size of animals. According to the instructions for use in veterinary medicine, Eleovit is injected subcutaneously or intramuscularly in the hip / neck area.
Cattle
Adults for cattle are prescribed in 5-6 ml, in young cattle up to a year - in 2-3 ml.
Horses
Adult horses are introduced from 3 to 5 ml, 2-3 ml are recommended for foals up to one year old.
Goats and sheep
Adults of goats and sheep injected 1-2 ml of the drug, and the kids and lambs, 1 ml.
Pigs
The following dosages are recommended for pigs:
- adults: from 3 to 5 ml;
- piglets weaned from sow: 1.5 ml;
- young especially from 6 to 12 months: 2 ml;
- suckling piglets: 1 ml:
- newborns: 0.5 ml.
As a maintenance supplement, Eleovit is administered to sows two months before farrowing, and then it can be injected into newborn piglets for improved survival. It is necessary to take into account the breed of pigs, for example, Vietnamese are much smaller in size, respectively, the dose for them will be less.
Precautionary measures
Although the drug is not toxic, it is recommended to follow standard safety measures during its use.
For the injections, sterile syringes should be used; manipulations should be carried out with gloves. The injection area should be treated with an alcohol-containing agent. Syringes after the procedure must be disposed of, hands thoroughly washed.
Contraindications
The drug is generally well tolerated, is contraindicated only if you are hypersensitive or allergic to certain components. Can not be used in hypervitaminosis in animals.
There may also be a local reaction in the area of the injection with intramuscular injection (skin irritation). In this case, the drug should be canceled. Before using together with other medications, you should consult a veterinarian.
Terms and conditions of storage
Eleovit should be stored in its original packaging in a place protected from sunlight and moisture, the temperature should be between 5 and 25ºС. Shelf life - 2 years.
