Jesse James himself may have never stepped foot in this historic Kentucky bank on that fateful day in 1868 -- he was too busy recovering from a gunshot wound -- but the rest of the James Gang left a lasting impression when they made off with $9,000 from one of the bank's vaults.
According to Realtor.com, two gunshots from the infamous robbery remain in the building, which is now a residential home that is on the market for $825,000.
The former bank was built in 1857 and housed the Southern Bank of Kentucky before it was converted into a residential property in the '80s. But for the history buffs interested in purchasing the property, it does retain plenty of other original details.
The six-bedroom home is equipped with 12 fireplaces, beautiful crown molding and mahogany staircases and the former bank's two vaults, which are completely operational should the new owners have a collection of valuables they need to hide.
