Sailboats have a reputation for being among the smaller ships on the sea, but one billionaire is turning that assumption on its head.
Andrey Igorevich Melnichenko, the ninth richest person in Russia, just unveiled his newest sailing boat, and it's nothing to scoff at. At 468 feet in length and boasting 300 foot high masts, it's the largest sailing yacht in existence, according to the Daily Mail.
The super-yacht is simply called "Sailing Yacht A," reportedly so it will always be listed first in shipping registers, and has an impressive eight floors, as well as an underwater observation deck.
Melnichenko reportedly dropped more than $400 million on his new mega-yacht, but considering he's worth $9.2 billion, that hefty price tag won't set him back too far.
For the rest of us, there's always the option of buying an apartment aboard a luxury cruise ship.
