Now this is one auction that requires both champagne taste and budget.
At Sotheby's Finest And Rarest Wines Auction on September 25th, one lucky bidder will win the chance to travel to Reims, France, for a visit to the House of Krug.
The single lot, titled the Krug 1915 Experience, includes a two-day tasting event for the winning bidder and three guests, who will tour the famed champagne house's vineyard and cellars with the Director of the House, Olivier Krug.
If the backstage pass to the world of one of the most luxurious beverage's on the planet wasn't enough, the winner and guests will also have the chance to taste the rare Krug Private Cuvée 1915, of which only four bottles remain.
The 1915 vintage is noteworthy not only for its rarity, but because it was created while Jeanne Krug was in charge after her husband was captured and imprisoned during World War I.
Bids for the Krug 1915 Experience will start at $15,000, though more recent vintages are available for direct purchase from Sotheby's Wine.
