If you love flowers but hate how quickly they fade, meet Jessica Pezalla. The Bramble Workshop artist and display designer, who has devised window displays for Anthropologie and Hermès, has perfected the art of flower arranging… with paper.
Pezalla's florals are not your typical DIY creations. They truly resemble real flowers, and would easily fool the eyes of your dinner party guests.
Now, the artisan is offering a one-hour class in collaboration with Brit + Co. that details the art of paper-flower-making. What's more, the course is entirely online, so you can take part no matter where you live.
The beginner-level workshop teaches the art of crafting a number of beautiful flowers-including peonies and dahlias-from crepe paper. Pezalla even offers a tutorial on creating a faux-floral backdrop that'll add a bit of pizzazz to your next fete.
By the end, you'll be an expert in bringing your favorite flowers to life. And, that means you can create the perfect summery centerpiece that will last into the fall season and beyond.
