Andrei Ryumshin, Minister of Agriculture of the Republic of Crimea, said on February 21 that in the next two years Crimea plans to increase the production of 2 and 3 wheat varieties. According to him, last year a good grain harvest was produced in the region, but mostly 4 and 5 varieties of wheat dominate the crop structure, but today these varieties of grain are not in great demand in the market.
Thus, in the Crimea, further production of 2 and 3 wheat varieties demanded on the world market will be developed. In addition, domestic bakery manufacturers need high-quality grain. Crimean farmers must implement all the necessary agricultural work to get a good harvest of wheat, the minister said.
