British Airways Is Introducing An Even More Luxurious First Class Cabin

Bigger chairs and complementary beverages just aren't enough for some first class passengers, and British Airways has taken note.

The airline just unveiled renderings of the first class cabin, which will be included on their new Dreamliner planes, according to The Daily Mail. And it's quite luxurious.

Each seat is designed like a private suite, with all the comforts of home, including walls, a foot rest, leather seats and lights that can be set to better reflect the time of day. Passengers will also enjoy increased personal storage, with specific areas to stow their shoes, handbags, and necessary items, like passports and cellphones.

The first class is also getting a high-tech upgrade, as each seat will be equipped with charging stations, as well as a new smartphone-inspired handset that will let passengers control the entertainment options at their seat.

With only eight seats per aircraft, and tickets starting at over $3,800, British Airways is making first class even more exclusive than ever before. But if the high-end seats aren't in your price range, don't worry too much, you can still travel like a jet setter in coach.
